The Empire State Aerosciences Museum will be open for Spring Break Week from Tuesday April 2 – Sunday April 7 from 10 am – 4 pm, however we are CLOSED Sunday, March 31st in observance of Easter.
See our C-130 Hercules airlifter that were modified with the addition of rockets engines. They were part of a joint project of the US Military in 1980 to prepare for a second rescue attempt of hostages held in Iran. ESAM has 2 galleries and an outside airpark with planes like the F-4DPhantom, the a-10 Warthog, F-14 Tomcat, A-6 Intruder, even a 1910 vintage Curtiss Pusher! In the hanger we have a few “Experimental” planes kids can jump into. We also have updated Gallery 1 with new and exciting exhibits; many hands-on. Come check it ALL out!
On Thursday, April 4th at 1 pm, there will be a class on ESAM’s planes.
The Museum is open from Tuesday through Sunday April 2-7, 2024 from 10 am – 4 pm.
