Join us for breakfast and a presentation on the Air Traffic Controller program at SUNY Schenectady County Community College. Local Flight Instructor and Associate Professor of the Aviation Science Barbara Jones will give an overview of opportunities available to students and exciting new technology leading the way for tomorrow's controllers.
The Air Traffic Control program provides a foundation in air traffic control basics and skills for the continuous safe flow of aircraft in the airspace system. The College developed this program to help fill a need locally and nationally for qualified air traffic controllers as identified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), with an expected shortage of qualified controllers.
Enjoy an assortment of pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage, potatoes, juice, coffee, tea, fruit and more. The breakfast is open to the public.
