At 10 am, retired Colonel Dan Swift will talk about his involvement in A-10 Operations in the Air War over Serbia. Earning his pilot wings at Williams Airforce base in Chandler, Arizona, he had a 3-year stint as a T-37 instructor and then was assigned to fly the A-10 Thun-derbolt 2. Colonel Swift is a graduate of the Air Force Fighter Weapon School and the Air War College. He flew 40 combat sorties in 1991 in the first Gulf War, Operation Deliberate Force (1995) and the Air War over Serbia and Kosovo (1999).
