*The Empire State Aerosciences Museum is committed to serving all members of the community, and will offer these classes free of charge to economically distressed families*
The Empire State Aerosciences Museum, 250 Rudy Chase Drive, Glenville NY 12302 will offer classes for students (ages 8-15 Years old) to learn about the history of aviation and how planes fly. Classes will be limited to 10 students, and will be conducted in the museum’s outdoor airpark and/or Community Room on Saturdays, June 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 1pm – 2:30pm.

June 5 – Class “Aircraft of the ESAM Airpark”
Open Cockpit: Bell UH1 Huey (Vietnam Era
June 12 – Class: “History of Aviation”
Open Cockpit: Russian MiG 15 Fighter (Korean War Era)
June 19 –Class “How Planes Fly”
Open Cockpit: Northrup F-5 Tiger
June 26 – Class: “Parts of a Plane”
Open Cockpit: Bell UH1 Huey (Vietnam Era)
Masks are required and social distancing rules will apply. The ESAM airpark contains twenty historic and spectacular military aircraft, so this is a great opportunity to learn about aviation, see something different, and have fun! Cost is $12.00 per student and reservations are necessary. Please call the museum at 518-377-2191 ext. 10 to register.
