Volunteering at the Aerosciences Museum

We’re talking about volunteering at the Empire State Aerosciences Museum. It’s an experience that will surpass your imagination and is guaranteed to fill your life with a sense of purpose and accomplishment.

Whether it’s volunteering in the Gift Shop, being an extra pair of hands at our monthly Fly-In Breakfast (you get to eat some of those yummy pancakes, too), helping on the exhibit or restoration committee, or doing mailings in the office, there are areas where we have needs to be met.

It’s not JUST a museum. It’s a place of learning for kids of all ages…from the youngest to, well, the other day I met a member who was 92. What a wonderful conversation we had about his experiences during WWI.

One of our education flyers says “It’s Just Plane Fun!” You have to see it to experience it! On a day when the classroom is filled with excited children who are anxious to learn about aviation you just have to smile with joy! What would we do without our wonderful instructors!
